Photo: Father appeals to Nigerians for help in finding his daughter who was kidnapped at 14 and coverted to Islam
Mr. Sima Guje from Guyuk LGA of Adamawa State is appealing to well meaning Nigerians to help him find his daughter, Blessing who was kidnapped by one Bilhadi Yakubu in 2010. Below is the full statement posted by Ena Ofugara...
"Mr Sima Guje hereby appeals to Nigerians to help him recover his daughter BLESSING (NYIMJIR) SIMAN, Born 13th June 1996 who was abducted by one BILHADI YAKUBA alias Dan Daura since September 2010 at the age of 14years in Connivance with the Chief Judge of KUJE Upper Area Court and Police Authorities who exhibited lackadaisical attitude towards his plight. The said daughter Blessing (Nyimjir) Siman who was a Christian and JSS 2 student of FHA Junior Secondary School Lugbe, Airport Road Abuja was renamed Kadijat by her abductors and forcefully converted to Islam. Although Mr. SIMAN reported the matter at the Lugbe Police Station, the Police couldn't help him because the young girl's abductors summoned him at the KujeUpper Area Court where their kinsman was the Judge. The Judge ordered for the arrest of MR. SIMAN, the girl's father and 5 other relatives who accompanied him to Court. They were incarcerated at the Court premises thus paving an easy passage for the girl and her abductors to leave Abuja unchallenged and since October 2010 MR. SIMAN and his family have not set eyes on their child. All attempts made to get help from Human Rights Commission and the Nigeria Police Force proved abortive. Imagine the mental torture and trauma of not seeing your child for years and waking up every morning to the fact that your daughter is in the hands of your worst enemies. Volunteers, Girl Child NGOs & Humanitarians willing to help can Contact MR. SIMAN GUJE on Telephone No:- +2348080996352 or +2347036012011, Pls kindly Like & Share widely until Help gets to Blessing & Family"
Photos: 4 Catholic nuns, 13 others killed by gunmen at a retirement home in Yemen, Pope Francis condemns the massacre

At least seventeen people, including four Catholic nuns, were killed on Friday, March when armed men attacked a care home for the elderly run by Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity.
The group of gunmen raided the home for the elderly located in the Sheik Osman district of Aden. According to eyewitness reports, two gunmen encircled the facility while at least four raided the building housing over 80 patients.
The gunmen then proceeded to separate four nuns at gunpoint before opening fire on them. Two of the four slaughtered nuns were Rwanda, one from India and another from Kenya. One nun managed to survive the attack by hiding inside a refrigerator.
After killing the nuns, the gunmen then moved from room to room handcuffing the patients and shooting them in the heads. Six Ethiopians, a Yemeni cook and Yemeni guards were also killed.
The dead and injured were taken to the city’s state-run Republican hospital and a health centre run by Medecins Sans Frontieres. A doctor at the Republican hospital told the media that some of the dead had arrived with their hands tied behind their backs. Most had been shot in the head.

Paramedics said they expected the death toll to rise as some of the wounded had serious injuries. Officials and medics were unable to provide a figure for the number of people injured in the attack.
There were about 80 elderly residents at the home, which was established in 2000 by Missionaries of Charity, a religious order set up by Mother Teresa. Sunita Kumar, a spokeswoman for the order in the Indian city of Kolkata, said its members were “absolutely stunned” at the killing.
"The sisters were to come back but they opted to stay on to serve people in Yemen." she said.
Missionaries of Charity, which also runs homes for the elderly in Taez, Hodeidah and Sanaa, is the only organisation to provide such a service in Yemen. Local religious leader Sheikh Mohammed Mahboob blamed the Aden attack on ISIL, which considers Christians to be heretics.
"The Islamic fighters have a wrong understanding of Islam" he said.
So far no group has claimed responsibility for Friday's attack, but reports on the ground indicate that the slaughter was carried out by Islamic State terrorists or their affiliates.
Yesterday, March 5, the Vatican condemned the killings. In a statement relased on behalf of Pope Francis , the Vatican's Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, said the pontiff was "shocked and profoundly saddened by the massacre.

8 Things only poor guys Experience in Relationships [why you should be RICH]
1: Your girlfriend will never be faithful
She see no reason why she will to be faithful to you when you can’t foot her bills, she have needs which you cant afford, she cheat on you because her needs need to be met. You maybe playing the role of her emotional comforter or sex machine but it doesn’t give you right to demand for her faithfulness, the bottom line is play your role and if you are not comfortable with your role waka and save yourself the heartbreak.
2: She may have no respect for your feelings
I can relate to this because I was once a victim, I cant forget in a hurry Easter last three years when I was so broke that I cant afford to take my babe out, I called her to know if she will spend Easter day at my house. She told me that a male friend wants to go on a date with her that day, all my effort to make her change her mind was in vain she stop picking my calls and told me in harsh tone that I should stop disturbing her. Since that day I learnt my lesson.
3: She will be rude along the line
I cant forget how I tried to reconcile my guy and his babe, the words coming out of her mouth were so bad that I felt like crying for my guy. She was rubbing it on his face that he is so broke that he cant afford her needs and still expect her to be faithful while all her girlfriends have boyfriends taking care of their needs, she went on to say that she wonder why she agreed to date him in the first place even after reconciliation her rude behavior did not stop.
4: She will not be proud to introduce you to her close friends.
Don’t be surprise if such happens to you, she is protecting her investment. I was once a victim, my ex then introduced me as her cousin brother to her lodge mates when I visited her school, I asked her why will she do that she told me that her land lady will not allow a male friend to spend the night at their lodge so she introduce me as her cousin so that her land lady will allow me spend the night. My mumu self accept her explanation it was later I found out that she have a rich boyfriend who always visit her and is well known as her boo, me na assistant or side boyfriend no be person tell me to run as far as I could.
5: She will be open with you
Imagine your babe telling you that she has a boo apart from you and expect you to be comfortable about it, when asked why she will cheat on you she replies, her needs will be met, within yourself you know you cant afford her needs so it is either you stay or you leave either way she will not lose anything. Who misses a broke person if I may ask ? I believe we all know the answer.
6: Backstabbing
Girls may not only be a poor dude problem his guys can be especially the fake friends.
A fake friend may go behind you to snatch your babe or be sleeping with her because he is richer than you. We read everyday of such stories online, how you handle such betrayer is up to the guy involve.
7: Painful breakup
As a poor dude you may have invested your time and little money and sacrifice a lot just to make her love you but at the end a richer guy will snatch her away either for marriage or relationship either way it is always painful if you find yourself in such situation
8: Disrespectful
Who respect poor people in the society if I may ask, so as a broke dude always have it at the back of your mind that such is inevitable. Back to my guy matter his babe talks to him anyhow in public that even their coworkers have to caution her many times yet any small problem she will tell the guy that it is over yet let the guy go she will not because she knows no other guy will tolerate her poo, most times I wonder if they use the girl swear for my guy.

The lingering industrial crisis rocking the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, took on another dimension Monday morning when hundreds of workers took to the Ibadan-Ijebuode Road to protest against the poor administration of the director of CSIN, Professor Malachy O. Akoroda.
CRIN Workers Protest Naked, Demand CRIN Director’s Removal
The women, who were nearly nude, were joined by their male counterparts who all chanted anti-management songs. The presence of the police did not deter them from their agitation, but rather seemed to strengthen them.
The workers also barricaded the main entrance of the institute with loads of sand and several wooden posts, upon which they placed placards inscribed with their various complaints and demands of CRIN’s management.
The protesting workers were angered by the arrival of armed police and a payloader to remove their barricades. They accused the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leye Oyebade, of conniving with the Professor Akorada to suppress their right to protest. They were also supported by community leaders and youth who joined the protest.
A paper jointly signed by Chief Yekeen Ogunyode, the Baale of Odo Onanla, and Solomon Adebiyo read, “We, the entire workers of the Cocoa research institute of Nigeria (CRIN), Ibadan and members of the host communities, decry and condemn in entirety the decision of the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leye Oyebade, to use brutal force to suppress the ongoing and legitimate agitation of CRIN workers against the years of despotic and draconian rule of Professor Malachy O. Akoroda, the Executive Director of the institute.”
However the Commander of Idi Ayunre Police Command, who led officers to the scene of the protest, maintained they were at the scene to maintain peace and order, “we are aware of their agitation, but it is our duty to ensure their protest does not turn violent.”
The Chief Ogunyode and Mr. Adebiyo’s letter stated further that, “letters have been sent to the President Federal Republic of Nigeria and Federal House of Representatives regarding the lingering crisis in CRIN. In addition numerous petitions have been sent to the ICPC, the EFCC, the Auditor General, and Accountant General of the Federation concerning the mismanagement of funds through white elephant projects at the expense of research by Professor Akoroda.”
Despite all these efforts, Professor Akoroda has continued to intimidate, harass, and victimize all those involved in the struggle to expose his maladministration through the issuance of queries, endless warnings, open confrontations and the promotion of insubordination within CRIN.
To further complicate a bad situation he has illegally created three in-house unions to allow him to perpetrate his tyrannical rule of the institute, despite a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) he voluntarily signed with the Federal Ministry of Labour in Abuja.
Chief Ogunyode and other community leaders informed journalists that they stood with the workers because, “we [Community Leaders] have made several attempt to ensure this matter is settled, but Professor Akoroda will not listen. We cannot continue to fold our arms and watch this institute rot away or have our land taken away, most of our people are here. We want peace and I think peace cannot return to this place until Professor Akoroda is removed.
Efforts to speak with Professor Akoroda on the phone were rebuffed as he said he is not permitted to speak on the issue due to a civil service rule against it, “I cannot speak on this issue except with the express permission of the Permanent Secretary.”
